Crilco Confectionary Co based in Newry engaged Mac Construction to install a new production unit and sugar silo at their existing factory.

Scope of works:

• Enabling works, including diversion of live services (electric, telecoms, gas, steam, water and drainage)

• Partial demolition of the live factory

• Rock excavations to install 150m3 RC foundation for 70T sugar silo.

• Complete supply and fit installation of 418m2 purpose-built production unit including:

  • reduced dig and disposal

  • foundations

  • erecting steel work and cladding

  • block work and RC floor

  • carpark installation and landscaping

Mac Construction managed the factory closure and delivered outstanding results despite difficult site conditions and time constraints. Our team exceeded client expectations and delivered all works to a high standard and within the required time frame.
